6th Annual Tie A Pink Ribbon Ceremony
More than fifty breast cancer survivors, friends and family
came to the Long Beach Breast Cancer Coalition garden on Park
Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, dedicated to Sue Rosenbaum
the Coalition’s first president, for the 6th Annual
Tie A Pink Ribbon Ceremony which honors the women who have
survived and the memory of those who lost their battle with
breast cancer.
All the attendees took the opportunity to tie a pink ribbon
on the garden tree, dedicated to former member Jean Brandle.
It was a time of introspection, and sharing. Following the
ceremony everyone was the guest of the Bagel Club on Pacific
Boulevard for a breakfast of a bagel and beverage provided
by David and Larry, the new owners.
