LBBCC is pleased to announce the presentation of 2 scholarships to two ladies going into the medical field.  The students are selected by the High School guidance department.  The following is a Thank You Note from one of them:  Please accept my heartfelt thank you.  I am truly honored that my hard work both academically and within the community was recognized by such an important community organization.  I hope that my research activities will someday contribute to the eradication of cancer and that I might make your organization proud of me.   The two recipients this year were Kara Morgenstein and Sydnee Grushach.

Congrats to Debbie Basile, Executive Director of Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition our sisterhood coalition.  A well deserved recognition by Long Island Business News at its annual 50 Long Island Women of Distinction Dinner for her tireless efforts in the fight against breast cancer awareness and other issues.
